Accommodations on the ranch provide the creature comforts to compliment any deer or exotics hunt. Between the SMR Lodge with private suites, the trophy room for meals and gatherings, and the extensive shooting range—time around camp offers some of the best memories of a hunt at SMR.

Constructed in 2012, the lodge at SMR accommodates each hunter in a suite-style room, complete with a private bath, walk-in shower, 2 beds and a minibar that includes a coffee maker, snacks and a refrigerator. Each room comfortably accommodate 1-3 people, depending on the hunter’s preference. The lodge includes 8 of these suites and 2 bunkrooms each with 8 beds, for a total of 16 beds in the lodge rooms and another 16 in the bunkrooms. Whether you are a single hunter searching for the hunt of a lifetime, a small group or large, we guarantee the lodge at SMR will provide the creature comforts to suit your hunting experience.

The trophy room is a hunter’s favorite and a fond memory from time around camp. Trophies from around the world decorate the wall space, as well as many animals available for hunting on the ranch. Meals are served here as well as games and casual time around camp. Catching the weekend’s sport games on satellite TV is a common activity in the trophy room. Spacious porches extend the space to include a grilling deck, washers pit and horseshoes. Off the porches is a rock fire-ring that’s great for music, smores, or enjoying South Texas’ starry sky.
